Indications

ALGICELL® Alginate Wound Dressings may be used for pressure, diabetic, and venous insufficiency ulcers or infected wounds. This dressing may also be used in rope form to pack deep wounds or to help control minor bleeding.

Contraindications

Contraindicated for use on full-thickness (third-degree) burns or for surgical implantation.
