Some are designed to allow repeated adjustment and repositioning to ensure proper drainage and improve patient comfort. May incorporate a skin barrier to help reduce skin trauma, tearing, blistering, or ulceration.

Contraindicated for use on patients with a known sensitivity to any components of the securement device.
