Cutimed® Cuticell® Contact is a silicone wound contact layer that has a perforated transparent structure and is highly conformable. Its optimally perforated structure ensures even highly viscous exudate can easily pass through.

Indications

Cutimed® Cuticell® Contact is indicated for acute and chronic wounds such as venous leg ulcers and pressure injuries, post-op surgical incisions, blistering, skin graft donor sites, lacerations, abrasions, and skin tears.

Mode of Use/Application

Clean the wound according to good clinical practice. Choose a dressing size that covers the wound and overlaps the wound edges by at least 2 cm. Open the punch and remove Cutimed® Cuticell® Contact, ensuring sterility. Remove one release liner. Apply Cutimed® Cuticell® Contact with the tacky side towards the wound, and remove the second release liner. Smooth dressing into place. Cover with the appropriate secondary dressing. 

Removal & Change Frequency

Carefully remove secondary dressing and gently remove Cutimed® Cuticell® Contact from the wound and discard. If required, cleanse the wound prior to application of a new dressing. Frequency of dressing change depends on the condition of the wound.
