DermaTex™ Ag Moisture Wicking Fabric with Antimicrobial Silver is a soft and comfortable moisture wicking fabric, impregnated with metallic silver and designed to absorb excess moisture commonly found in skin folds and transport it away from the skin.

DermaTex™ Ag Moisture Wicking Fabric with Silver is indicated for use in the management of skin folds and other skin-on-skin contact areas.
Should not be placed directly onto an open wound or breached skin.
Do not use on individuals with known sensitivity to polyester, nylon, or silver.
May cause transient skin discoloration. If reddening, pain, and/or irritation occurs, consult health care professional or doctor.
May not be used to protect against urine or feces. If such soiling occurs, the fabric must be changed immediately.
Do not use the same device for multiple patients. Do not wash the fabric as it may compromise the performance.
Creams and ointments used in conjunction with product may reduce the efficacy of the product.
The dressing must be removed prior to patients undergoing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
Store at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight and moisture. Do not use if package is damaged.

Cut the appropriate size of DermaTex™ Ag for the affected area with clean scissors, allowing a minimum of 2" of the fabric exposed outside the skin fold for moisture evaporation.
Lay a single layer of fabric in the skin fold, placing one edge of the fabric in to the base of the skin fold. Leave a least 2" of fabric exposed outside the skin fold.
Secure the fabric in one or more of the following ways: with the skin fold, with a small amount of medical tape, and/or tucking under clothing. Ensure the applied fabric is not constricting the affected area.
Each piece of DermaTex™ Ag may be used up to a maximum of 5 days, depending on fabric soiling, odor, amount of moisture and general skin condition.
Remove the fabric before bathing/showering and reapply when finished.
When removing the fabric from skin folds, gently separate the skin fold and lift away the fabric. Dispose of used dressing after a maximum of 5 days use time according to local procedures and guidelines.
