HYCOL® Hydrolyzed Collagen Powder is indicated for use in the management of chronic and acute wounds, including partial- and full-thickness wounds, pressure injuries, traumatic wounds, diabetic ulcers, first- and second-degree burns, venous stasis ulcers, and arterial ulcers. Use the powder on moderately to heavily exudative wounds.
Contraindicated for use on persons with known sensitivities to bovine or collagen products. Not indicated for use on third-degree burns.
Store at room temperature and protect from freezing.

It is recommended that the wound bed be debrided of any necrotic or sloughy fibrotic tissue. Cleanse the wound per facility protocol. Apply HYCOL® Hydrolyzed Collagen Powder to cover the entire wound bed and the edges of the wound, including any areas of undermining or tunneling. Cover with a secondary dressing appropriate for the level of drainage. Infected wounds are treated per physician direction.
Reapply a minimum of 2 to 3 times per week or as necessary.
Cover with an appropriate dressing that provides a moist wound-healing environment.
