Leukomed®

Leukomed® adhesive dressings are made from non-woven polyester fabric coated with a polyacrylate adhesive. For short term use on the skin to cover minor and medium wounds after surgery and also minimally invasive surgeries. Can remain in place for one day to several days depending on the status of the wound and overall skin condition.

Indications

Leukomed® is indicated for use on post-surgical incisions, light to moderate draining wounds, pressure injuries, partial- and full-thickness wounds and as a secondary dressing over gels and ointments.

Mode of Use/Application

Make sure the package is intact before opening. Remove one end of the backing paper, and gently place on the wound. The remove the remaining backing and gently press down the dressing, making good contact with the periwound skin. 

Removal & Change Frequency

To remove the dressing, pull up gently on the edge of the dressing and gently release from the wound. Dressing can be worn for up to 1-4 days, depending on the clinical conditions of the wound and periwound skin.
