Indications

Lyofoam® Max Polyurethane Foam Sterile Dressing is indicated for use in the treatment of lightly to moderately exuding wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure injuries, post-operative and traumatic wound sites, burns and skin grafts.

Warnings and Precautions

Do not cover Lyofoam® Max Polyurethane Foam Sterile Dressing with occlusive films or tapes, as these reduce moisture vapor loss, which may impair the effectiveness of the dressing.

Mode of Use/Application

Irrigate/cleanse the wound with normal saline or wound cleanser. Select a size of Lyofoam® Max Polyurethane Foam Sterile Dressing large enough to overlap the wound margins by 2cm to 3cm. If necessary, cut to shape. Place the smooth, shiny side of the dressing directly over the wound surface.

Additional Recommended Dressings

Lyofoam® Max Polyurethane Foam Sterile Dressing can be secured with tape or a retention bandage, or an appropriate compression bandage.
