Opticell® is indicated for use on partial- and full-thickness wounds, first- and second-degree burns, diabetic foot ulcers, venous ulcers, pressure injuries, surgical wounds, donor sites, and arterial and leg ulcers.
Not intended for use on third-degree burns or individuals with a known sensitivity to chitosan.
Protect from freezing, avoid excessive heat.

Cleanse the wound with an appropriate wound cleanser. Remove Opticell® from the package and place gently over wound. Opticell® may be pre-moistened with sterile saline before application on dry wounds. Cover with an appropriate secondary dressing. Opticell® may be moistened to ease removal if necessary.
May be left in place for up to 7 days.
Optifoam® Gentle or other appropriate secondary dressing.
