Polyderm™ Border and Barrier are hydrophilic foam dressings for primary or secondary use on exudating wounds or for cushioning painful wounds and tube sites.
• Non-adherent to the wound bed
• Protects granulating tissue
• Conformable and comfortable
• Highly absorbent
• Air-permeable
• Lint-free
• Available with stretchable fabric tape or transparent film adhesive border
Polyderm™ Border is indicated for use on dermal ulcers (pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, secreting lesions), second-degree burns, donor sites, lacerations, cuts, abrasions and other superficial wounds.
Local wound care cannot overcome the deficits of unrelieved malnutrition, pressure or trauma or compromised blood flow. Interventions must be instituted to reduce/relieve these factors that contribute to impaired wound healing in order to achieve the optimum outcome.
