Indications

Puracyn® Plus Antimicrobial Hydrogel is indicated for use on acute and chronic dermal wounds, partial- and full-thickness wounds, first- and second-degree burns, diabetic ulcers and stasis ulcers, stage 1-4 pressure injuries, surgical wounds (incisions, donor, and graft sites), abrasions and skin irritations, trauma wounds, and various dermatoses including atopic dermatitis.

Contraindications

There are no known drug/treatment contraindications.

For external use only. Not for injection.

Mode of Use/Application

Cleanse the wound with Puracyn® Plus Professional Formula Wound Irrigation Solution. Shake Puracyn® Plus Antimicrobial Hydrogel well before use. Apply Puracyn® Plus Professional Formula Antimicrobial Hydrogel. With some wounds, a wound filler may be needed to fill the cavity. Cover wound with appropriate wound dressing that holds Puracyn® Plus Professional Formula Antimicrobial Hydrogel to the wound bed.

Removal & Change Frequency

Change dressing as ordered or when needed.
