Rooke® BKA Rigid Protector protects and helps patients heal after below-knee amputation. Post-op dressing is designed to keep the knee in a secure yet neutral-flex position and offers superior wound and fall protection.

Contraindications

Not to be used on above-knee amputations.

Warnings and Precautions

Center patella in the middle of Rooke® BKA Rigid Protector and fill distal end with spacers if appropriate. Apply patella pad with light pressure.

How Supplied/Sizing
One size fits most. Includes: 1 BKA rigid dressing, 2 distal end pads, extender for either proximal or distal flaps, waist belt, scissors for trimming.

Removal & Change Frequency

Can be washed and dried on gentle cycle at low temperature without the spacer and all the Velcro® closures closed.

Construction

Polyester, plastic and nylon. Not made with natural rubber latex. Accommodates smaller-diameter residual limbs all the way up to bariatric thighs.
