The SIGVARIS Cotton Underliner (10mmHg-15mmHg) helps protect fragile skin, holds dressings in place, and aids in donning when compression stockings are superpositioned over this liner.
• Easy to apply
• Promotes compliance
• Won't compromise wound dressings
The SIGVARIS Cotton Underliner is intended to be used as an underlayer to protect fragile skin, secure wound dressings, to add 10mmHg-15mmHg of compression, or create an easy glide surface to aid in putting on and taking off compression stockings.
You should not wear SIGVARIS compression stockings if you have any of the following medical conditions: Severe arterial insufficiency, intermittent claudication, ischemia, uncontrolled congestive heart failure, diabetes with advanced arterial compromise, advanced neuropathy with sensory loss in leg or foot.
Skin sensitivities or allergies, neuropathy with decreased sensation in leg or foot, diabetes with arterial compromise, confinement to bed or non-ambulatory use unless otherwise prescribed by the physician, eczema, hypodermatitis, dermatosclerosis, dermatitis.
If you experience any discomfort or abnormal symptoms, remove the stocking and consult your physician.
The Cotton Underliner should never be worn directly over an exposed open wound.
Wounds must be covered with suitable dressings that will not slip when putting on or removing the underliner.
