Simpurity™ Bordered Silver Silicone Foam Dressing is an absorbent dressing containing silver ions to manage moderate to high levels of wound exudate. It contains a highly absorbent foam pad impregnated with silver ions and gentle silicone adhesive contact layer with an adhesive border to hold the dressing in place.

Indications

Simpurity™ Bordered Silver Silicone Foam Dressing is indicated for use as a primary dressing for the management of wounds such as acute and chronic wounds, superficial and partial-thickness burns, traumatic and surgical wounds, leg and foot ulcers, pressure ulcers and infected wounds

Contraindications

Not indicated for use on third-degree burns or surgical implantations.

Adverse Effects/Reactions

Do not use if you have an allergy to silver or silver products.
Do not use if you have an allergy to silicone adhesives.

Storage Requirements

Store at room temperature.

Mode of Use/Application

Apply topically to skin/wound surface.

Removal & Change Frequency

Dressing change frequency will depend on the patient’s condition and the level of exudate. This dressing is recommended to be changed three times a week. To remove, gently lift up an edge of the dressing and easily remove from the skin surface.
