Indications

Transparent Semi-Permeable Dressing is for use on IV, donor, incision and vaccine sites; minor burns (first- and second-degree); lacerations and abrasions; partial-thickness wounds; skin tears; stage 1 or 2 pressure ulcers; autolytic debriding (not appropriate for wounds that have become infected); skin biopsies; protective eye coverings; and post tattoo application and removal.

Contraindications

Do not use over deep cavity wounds, third-degree burns, or wounds that show evidence of clinical infection.
The dressing should not be used to retain in dwelling arterial catheters.
