TRITEC™ Silver Active Fluid Management® (AFM®) technology dressings draw excess exudate away from the wound while keeping the periwound skin dry for an optimal healing environment.
• Continuously pumps excess exudate away from the wound bed to help prevent maceration
• Keeps the wound bed evenly moist for optimal healing conditions
• Remains intact when exposed to fluid and during removal
• Provides 7-day broad-spectrum antimicrobial efficacy
• Kills infection-causing bacteria (eg, MRSA, VRE, Pseudomonas) in the dressing
• Causes less disturbance to the wound bed due to fewer dressing changes
• May be used under compression
• Cost-effective compared to other antimicrobial dressings
TRITEC™ Silver dressings provide an antimicrobial barrier to microbial colonization in the dressing and reduce microbial penetration through the dressing. TRITEC™ Silver dressings are indicated for the management of acute and chronic wounds, partial-thickness burns, incisions, skin grafts, donor sites, lacerations, abrasions, and stage 1-4 dermal ulcers (vascular, venous, pressure, and diabetic).
TRITEC™ Silver dressings should not be used on patients with a known sensitivity to silver. In case of suspected allergic reaction, discontinue use immediately and contact your health care provider.
TRITEC™ Silver dressings are not approved for use directly on full-thickness burns. The Active Fluid Management® performance of TRITEC™ Silver dressings may be impaired by use with petrolatum-based ointments. The use of TRITEC™ Silver dressings during radiation treatment, or examinations such as x-rays, ultrasonic treatment, diathermy, microwaves, MRI, or HBO, has not been demonstrated. Use of TRITEC™ Silver dressings during pregnancy or lactation and for pediatrics has not been demonstrated.
TRITEC™ Silver dressings should be stored at temperatures less than 131˚F. Keep dry.

TRITEC™ Silver dressings can be used throughout the healing process. Prepare the wound bed according to clinical protocol such as debridement and/or cleaning and rinsing with sterile saline or water.
Remove the dressing from the package and inner liner, taking note of the printing on the dressing.
For moderately to heavily draining wounds, the printed side of the dressing should be applied away from the wound bed with an absorbent secondary dressing secured on top. For non- to lightly draining wounds, the printed side of the dressing may be applied toward the wound bed. The dressing may be pre-wet with sterile saline, sterile water, or wound gel to provide additional hydration. A secondary absorbent dressing may not be necessary.
Regardless of which side of the TRITEC™ Silver dressing is placed toward the wound, secure with an appropriate dressing such as roll gauze, adhesive bordered gauze, composite island dressing, transparent film, or tape. TRITEC™ Silver dressings may be used under compression or in conjunction with negative pressure wound therapy. Optimal performance of TRITEC™ Silver dressings requires direct contact with the wound. TRITEC™ Silver dressings can be cut, folded, or wrapped as necessary.
Primary dressing change 1 to 2 times per week:
Deep wounds:
-Higher drainage: TRITEC™ Silver applied for "Higher Drainage" or TRITEC™ Silver Strips
-Lower drainage: TRITEC™ Silver applied for "Lower Drainage" or TRITEC™ Silver Strips pre-wet with saline solution or wound gel
Shallow wounds:
- Higher drainage: TRITEC™ Silver applied for "Higher Drainage"
- Lower drainage: TRITEC™ Silver applied for "Lower Drainage" pre-wet with saline solution or wound gel
Directions for removal:
TRITEC™ Silver dressings should be changed when clinically indicated or as prescribed by a physician.
Carefully remove the secondary dressing and the TRITEC™ Silver dressing from the wound. Normally the dressing does not adhere to the wound. If adherence is observed, the dressing can be remoistened with sterile saline or water to ease removal.
