Biatain® Alginate is a highly-absorbent alginate dressing for moderately to heavily exuding wounds. Consists of calcium alginate and carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) and converts to a soft, cohesive gel upon contact with exudate.

Matches the shape and depth of the wound bed up to 2cm deep, leaving minimal dead space where exudate can pool and helping to minimize the risk of infection. Biatain® Silicone Lite is a thin and ultra-flexible absorbent dressing with a gentle silicone adhesive that can be used when needed for high mobility or when protocol requires frequent dressing changes.
