DeRoyal Oil Emulsion is a sterile, knitted cellulose fabric wound dressing impregnated with an oil emulsion blend.
• Non-occlusive to allow flow of exudate away from wound into secondary dressing
• Helps maintain a moist wound environment to promote healing
• Non-adherent to the wound site for easy removal
• Can be cut to shape or size
DeRoyal Oil Emulsion is indicated for use on dry to heavily draining wounds (both infected and non-infected), surgical incisions, first- and second-degree burns, skin grafts, donor sites, dermal ulcers, venous ulcers, suture lines, abrasions and lacerations.

Irrigate/cleanse wound with sterile saline solution or sterile water. Gently dry surrounding skin. Peel open pouch and remove DeRoyal Oil Emulsion dressing from package. Cut DeRoyal Oil Emulsion Dressing to size if necessary. Place dressing directly over wound.
Change DeRoyal Oil Emulsion Dressing when cover dressing is saturated or per physician instructions.
Dispose of soiled dressing per institution's policy.
Cover with an appropriate cover or secondary dressing, depending on the amount of drainage.
