Clean your hands with soap and water or other recommended products before the procedure. Clean the lesion using water and/or a physiological solution, keeping the injured area moistened. Open the envelope, separating the two halves of the package, and remove the Omiderm, which is sterile. Place either side on the moistened lesion, either side can be applied to the wound. Moisten the film using sterile water or physiological solution with a well-moistened gauze pad, smoothing gently with movements from the center to the edge, pressing gently until it is fully adhered and removing any bubbles or wrinkles.
Remove every 7 days or at doctor's discretion.
Generic bandages like gauze should be applied over Omiderm.
