Indications

Suprasorb® A + Ag Calcium Alginate Dressing with Antimicrobial Silver is indicated for the management of moderately to highly exuding acute and chronic wounds such as: pressure injuries, venous ulcers, skin donor sites, and post-operative wounds, including wounds that may be infected or at risk for infection.

Contraindications

Contraindicated for patients with a known sensitivity to the dressing components.

Warnings and Precautions

Not for use on dry wounds.

Mode of Use/Application

Cleanse wound using existing clinical protocols. The surrounding skin should be clean and dry. Place Suprasorb® A + Ag Calcium Alginate Dressing with Antimicrobial Silver on the wound. For deep or cavity wounds, use the rope dressing. Secure with secondary dressing.

Removal & Change Frequency

May be left in place for up to 7 days or until saturated.
