Facility Never Events in Wound Care: What You Need to Know

In 2007, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced that it would no longer reimburse facilities for costs associated with preventable errors, termed Never Events. Although hospitals have since implemented measures to prevent these events, Never Events still occur even with the best procedures in place.
