Leukomed® I.V. Film is a transparent dressing for securing IV catheters and cannulas. This dressing allows for visual IV site inspection and is both bacteria proof and moisture vapor permeable.

Indications

Leukomed® I.V. transparent film dressing is indicated for use for the fixation of IVs, catheters, cannulas, and other medical devices requiring fixation.

Mode of Use/Application

Peel away the upper part of the release paper and hold the film dressing at the red strip. Position the dressing over the insertion site and adhere the film. Remove the two remaining release papers and stick the handles over the wings of the catheter. Lastly, take hold of the application film at the red tab and carefully lift it off. 

Removal & Change Frequency

Follow specific IV dressing change protocols of the facility. To remove the dressing, pull off the film evenly using one of the edges.
