VascuComp™1 delivers a proprietary multi-modality compression therapy solution in one easily transportable device to enhance arterial blood flow, and treat disorders associated with vascular or lymphatic insufficiency to reduce risk of clot formation.
• Enhances arterial blood flow
• Treats disorders associated with vascular or lymphatic insufficiency
• Reduces the risk of clot formation
• Provides sequential, calibrated gradient compression
• Adjustable individual pressure chambers
• Delivers high pressure, rapid inflation and deflation pressure pulse
The VascuComp™1 compression system in AI Mode is used as an adjunct therapy for patients with ischemic disease of the lower extremities, due to one or more of the following causes: minor amputations, angioplasty/stent failure, arteriopathic wounds, graft failure, intermittent claudication, ischemia, night pain, rest pain, small vessel disease, and ulcers.
The VascuComp™1 compression system in DVT Mode is used to decrease the risk of deep venous thrombosis (DVT), aid the blood flow back to the heart, and treat and assist healing of cutaneous ulceration (wounds), reduce wound healing time, enhance arterial circulation (blood flow), reduce compartmental pressures, reduce edema (swelling), and reduce the need for anticoagulant (blood thinning) medications.
The VascuComp™1 compression system in L Mode is used for the treatment of venous disorders and dysfunction of the "muscle pump".
The patient should not use the VascuComp™1 compression therapy system if they are suspected of or observed to have any of the following:
VascuComp™1 Al Mode:
Undesirable venous and lymphatic return (as with congestive heart failure), deep vein thrombosis (suspected or present), inflammatory phlebitis, episodes of pulmonary embolism, sepsis in the limb, cellulitis without appropriate antibiotic coverage, immediately following skin grafts in/around treatment sites, pulmonary edema associated with congestive heart failure or acute thrombophlebitis.
VascuComp™1 DVT Mode:
Presumptive evidence of congestive heart failure, undesirable venous and lymphatic return, poor peripheral circulation, severe arteriosclerosis, or active infection or suspected/observed: pre-existing deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism; deep acute venal thrombosis (phlebothrombosis); inflammatory phlebitis process; pulmonary edema; acute inflammations of the veins (thrombophlebitis); decompensated cardiac insufficiency; arterial dysregulation; crysipelas; carcinoma and carcinoma metastasis in the affected extremity; decompensated hypertonia; acute inflammatory skin diseases or infection; venous or arterial occlusive disease.
VascuComp™1 L Mode:
Known or suspected deep venous thrombosis, inflammatory phlebitis, episodes of pulmonary embolism, pulmonary edema or congestive heart failure, severe arteriosclerosis or other ischemic vascular disease, or any circumstance where increased venous and lymphatic return is undesirable.
