Hi, I'm Andrea Sinn, I'm a Certified Wound, Ostomy, Continence, Foot, and Nail Nurse, and here is your Wound to the Wise. I'm going to talk about Unna boots today and an easier way for application so that it doesn't dig into the patient's leg when you do it in a spiral technique as it dries. So I've already, for the sake of time, already continued up and we are going to do the fan technique where you go around, fan back, continue on the other side, fan back, and you're going to be doing this all the way up to two fingers below the knee so that you don't get onto that nerve.

And then follow it up with your Coban and the patient will do a lot better with an application like that. So that is your tip and have a great day.
